It is said that out of the many hundreds of saints Pope John Paul II canonized, only two did her choose to recognize their holy feast days as obligatory memorials, S. Maximilian (August 14th) Oct. 10th, 1982 and S. Pio (September 23rd) Jun 6th, 2002. We have always found this to be interesting, since many have considered Pope John Paul II as one of the few great pontiff's in history of the Catholic Church/or given the Keys of the Kingdom handed to S. Peter by Our Lord, Himself.
Honoring this Franciscan devotion of S. John Paul II, we have put together a book set meant to help you to grow and understand this devotion to Sts Pio/Max, which is meant to bring you as close as possible to the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate. And if you're thinking to starting your own S Pio MI Prayer Village...here is some good Catholic prayer/reading material you can use every 23rd of the month.
